African American History

In alignment with DPSCD's Declaration of Being an Anti-Racist Institution, we have been working to further develop a curriculum that allows us to "center the needs of our students and those that have been historically and institutionally oppressed." As such, we are thrilled to implement a new dynamic text and online platform for use in middle and high school African American history courses!

Black History 365 features contributions from a diverse group of scholars of African descent and presents learners with a more whole and inclusive representation of the history of people of African descent in America.
