The Assessments Department supports the administration of national, state, and district assessments.  These include NAEP (the nation’s report card), M-STEP, SAT School Day Testing, PSAT, and ACT WorkKeys.  The Assessments Department also coordinates with other District teams to support MI-Access and WIDA testing. The team works closely with a network of Building Assessment Coordinators, who manage assessment logistics for their individual school.  The Assessments Department also supports the Performance Management department with the calculation of student growth data which is an element that is utilized to support the evaluation of our educators. 

The Performance Management department, also known as the Evaluations Department, supports the administration and training of users to implement our Thrive accountability systems.
