Arrival/Dismissal Policy

Student entry to Fisher Magnet Lower is at 7:30 a.m. ALL K-5 STUDENTS enter DOOR #1.

Preschool families must use the Preschool door at the back of the building (Door #8) for drop-off and pick-up. If parents need to visit other areas, they must enter through Door #1 to get a visitor’s pass. Office staff will check if the teacher is available; if not, an appointment can be scheduled during their prep time.

Dismissal for Preschool starts at 2:30 p.m. at the rear of the building at Door #8.

Dismissal for Kindergarten students is at 2:30 p.m. at door #15 on E. State Fair Street.

Dismissal is at 2:40 p.m. for Grades 1 and 4 at door #5 on Crusade Street along with Mr. Rogers's 3rd grade homeroom class.

Dismissal is at 2:40 p.m. for Grade K, 2, 3, & 5 at door #15 E. State Fair Street.

Dismissal is at 2:40 p.m. for ESE students in Kurylyuk and Sanders classes at door 15 on East State Fair Street.

Students who are not picked up after school are brought to the Main Office to wait for their parents. We will contact DPSCD Police for students who are left after school without parents' permission.
