DPSCD School Spotlight of the Week: Southeastern High School, a symbol of advancement and community involvement. Southeastern was the first school to celebrate a groundbreaking ceremony under the DPSCD Facility Master Plan (FMP). Earlier this year, students, staff, alumni, and community members gathered to break ground on the new Annex, a state-of-the-art facility that will significantly enhance the Career and Technical Education (CTE) program. Beyond infrastructure, Southeastern showcases a diverse array of clubs and organizations. DPSCD Student Spotlight of the Week: During the month of November DPSCD students and their families are asked to demonstrate acts of Kindness. This month Sophia Dooley, a 4th grader at Davison Elementary Middle School was recognized by her teacher for demonstrating kindness amongst her peers. Examination High School Deadline Closes on Sunday: The Round 1 application window for admission to the District’s examination high school is coming to a close. The deadline to apply is this Sunday, November 17, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. Applicants can apply for the Fall 2025 admissions to the following schools: Cass, King, Renaissance, Southeastern and The School of Marygrove.
