Celebrating Our Beloved Volunteer, Ms. Mabene — “Grandma” to Us All! 🎉🌸

At Hamilton Elementary-Middle School, we believe it takes a village—and we are so lucky to have one of the very best in Ms. Mabene, affectionately known by our students as Grandma.

Grandma began volunteering at Hamilton over 10 years ago, when her granddaughter was a student here. Since then, she has become a cherished part of our school family, giving her time and heart to support our students and staff. She now volunteers daily in our kindergarten classroom, where her presence brings warmth, care, and encouragement to everyone she meets.

On Thursday, we had the joy of celebrating Grandma’s birthday, and Hamilton went all out! Students lined the hallways to wish her a happy birthday. They sang, chanted “Grandma!”, and showered her with handmade cards and beautiful flowers. The smiles, laughter, and heartfelt moments made it clear—Grandma has touched countless lives at Hamilton.

Thank you, Grandma, for your years of dedication, kindness, and love. Hamilton wouldn’t be the same without you!
