Please Welcome P3A's Nurse Locke-Wilson
Letrice Locke- Wilson has been a Licensed Practical Nurse within the State of MI for eight years obtaining a back ground in pediatric home health, MRDD, hospital, assisted living, long-term care and rehabilitation. She is also a United States Naval Veteran serving as a Hospital Corpsman providing clinical care in the areas of Oncology, Urology, Pre/ Post Surgery and Radiology at Naval Hospital Jacksonville, Florida. During her tour in the USN, she became a member of Fleet Hospital Jacksonville, a joint military mission whom provided humanitarian assistance and building of learning centers to the peoples of Port Au Prince Haiti in 1999. After completing her tour honorably, Letrice became a certified nursing assistant and worked as a home health manager providing care, medication administration, assistance with activities of daily living, safety and companionship to pediatric MRDD clients. At the same time she began pursuing and achieving both her AA and BS in Health Administration from the University of Phoenix, AZ. She is an alumni of Brown Mackie Cincinatti College of Nursing Class of 2012 and obtained licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of MI in 2013. She is self- directed, flexible, committed to team concepts, initiative and willingness to learn, acceptance and respect of diversity and possesses a drive to provide quality patient care. " As a nurse in the school setting , I am committed to support not only the physical well being of students, but also their academic success and life long achievement." Nurse Locke- Wilson is inspired daily by her husband and four children. In her free time, she likes to garden, train her poodles, visit her parents and play videogames.
