Freshman S. Dinkins Wins 1st Place in Citywide Essay Contest

Renaissance High School proudly celebrates freshman S. Dinkins, who won 1st place in this year’s essay contest hosted by the Always Optimist Club of Detroit! Representatives from the organization made a special visit to the school to surprise S. Dinkins with the exciting news right in front of his social studies class. Along with well-deserved applause from classmates and teachers, he was presented with a certificate and a $100 prize in recognition of his outstanding writing. Congratulations to S. Dinkins for this incredible achievement and for representing Renaissance with excellence!
