Back to School Event at DLA

On September 18, 2025, the Detroit Lions Foundation proudly sponsored a Back to School Event at Detroit Lions Academy. Each student received a bookbag filled with school supplies—including paper, pens, notebooks, a combination lock, and more—along with a Detroit Lions sweatshirt.

The event was packed with excitement and opportunities for students. They enjoyed music by DJ Ray Yadig, playing dodgeball with staff, learned more about the importance of milk from Milk Means More, engaged in a cooking demonstration from social media sensation “Cooking with Que”, participated in hands-on STEAM activities with Code 313, and connected with special guests including the Detroit Lions Cheerleaders and Roary. To top it all off, students were treated to a high-energy live performance from the Detroit Lions Drumline, Honolulu Boom.

It was a day filled with school spirit, community support, and unforgettable memories to kick off the new school year! Thanks Detroit Lions Foundation we appreciate you!!!!
