Parent Academy Workshop: Join this week’s “Your Health and Wellness” session. The goal for this session is to create a supportive environment where families feel motivated and empowered to make lasting changes to their health and well-being. This session will take place Wednesday, May 7, 2025, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Denby High School 12800 Kelly Road, Detroit, MI 48224. For more information, visit the Family and Community Engagement home page.

State Mandated Testing continues this week! Spring state testing continues this week. Social Studies assessments will begin for students in grades 5, 8 and 11 to assess their growth in social studies. ESE students in select programs will also begin state testing, which will provide important information about what they know and can do across multiple subjects. We know testing can feel stressful but remind your student to do their best—this is just one way we learn how to support them! If you have any questions, your school is here to assist.
