Important Message About School Threats: DPSCD Students, Staff, and Families, the District continues to take all threats seriously to ensure the safety of our students and staff. As we begin the new school year, we ask families to take a moment to speak with their students about the seriousness of making threats, even in jest. Please monitor their social media activity and remind them that having a phone is a privilege that comes with responsibility. Attached is a letter from the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office outlining the consequences of making threats against schools, staff, or students. If found guilty, individuals will be prosecuted. Let’s work together to create a safe and peaceful learning environment for all. Please take a moment to review the attached document.
