Hispanic Heroes of Dance
We’re so excited to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month in a unique and inspiring way! From Kindergarten through 8th grade, students are learning about Hispanic, Latinx, and Chicano dancers, choreographers, and entertainers who have made lasting contributions to the world of arts and culture.
This week, students discovered the life and legacy of José Limón, a pioneer of contemporary dance. Next week, they’ll learn about the incomparable Rita Moreno, an EGOT-winning entertainer and legend.
It’s a wonderful way to bring movement and culture together—and to inspire our students with stories of creativity, passion, and achievement!
