Sneaker Ball Honors School Sports Achievements

On May 16, 2025, the school hosted its annual Sneaker Ball, a beloved tradition that combines athletic achievements with the unique flair of sneaker culture. Held in the middle school's cafeteria, the event was a vibrant celebration of team spirit and individual accomplishments.

Highlights of the night included the presentation of awards for outstanding performances in various sports. The players were all recognized for their dedication and hard work throughout the season. Each award recipient received a certificate, symbolizing their achievements in a fun and memorable way.

The evening concluded with a heartfelt speech from the school's athletic director, Dean Malik Sims, and coaches Mr. Perdue and Mr. Watts, who praised the students for their perseverance and teamwork. The director emphasized the importance of sports in building character and fostering a sense of community. Our Keynote speaker, Ms. Mariah Lawton, CEO of Tindal Recreation Center, encouraged our athletes and gave them meaningful words of wisdom.

Overall, the Sneaker Ball was a resounding success, leaving everyone with lasting memories and a renewed sense of pride in their school's athletic programs. The cherished tradition continues to be a highlight of the school year, and many are already looking forward to next year's event.

Congratulations to all Cheerleaders, Girls Basketball Players, Boys Basketball Players, and Track Team on a successful season!
