Inspire, Create, and Innovate at The Henry Ford Museum

Detroit Public Schools Community District's pre-school students of the classrooms supported by the PNC Grow Up Great program are tinkering with creativity and engineering. By the way of collaborative efforts between the PNC Foundation and The Henry Ford Museum, the DPSCD pre-school students are celebrating learning through The PNC Tinkering for Tots Pre-school Program. Pre-school students are actively engaged in hands-on activities that foster science, technology, engineering, the arts, and math (S.T.E.A.M.) learning. Through the generous efforts of PNC, this experience is a family affair with each pre-school student exploring The Henry Ford Museum with one parent or adult chaperone. The Engineering 101 activities consist of: compare, contrast, and combine; crafting; exploring combinations; inspiring stories, and artifact of the day - wienermobile.

What a wonderful way to celebrate early childhood learning experiences! This innovative learning opportunity is creating the foundation to inspire, create, and foster learning.
