Show Up and Make it Count Attendance Video Contest Vote Through Nov. 8th:

We know every school day counts, so we called on our students to face off by submitting a short video focused on attendance and memorable moments at school. Go to the Detroit Public Schools Community District’s Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/Detroitk12), Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/detroitk12), and Twitter (https://twitter.com/detroitk12) accounts between 12 p.m. EST on October 30, 2020 and 9 a.m. EST on November 8, 2020 to vote.

Expect Respect-Kindness Spotlighted Starting This Week: World Kindness Day is Nov. 13th. Watch for stories and posts on kindness, one of the 10 positive character traits that make up the Expect Respect initiative. Celebrate as a school community and post on social media using the hashtag, #DPSCDWorldKindnessDay.
