DPSCD Free COVID-19 Testing Monday, Nov. 23:  In partnership with Henry Ford Health System and Wayne State University, free COVID-19 testing will be available Monday, Nov. 23. at the Golightly Education Center from 12 p.m.- 6 p.m. and at Martin Luther King Jr. Senior High School from 9 a.m.- 2 p.m. For more information, including the full schedule, please visit www.detroitk12.org/health.

Online Classes Resume Monday, Nov. 30: Class is in session this Monday and Tuesday. The District will resume its normal schedule on Monday, Nov. 30. The District reminds you to stay safe this holiday weekend. Happy Thanksgiving!

Grab and Go Thanksgiving Schedule Monday, Nov. 23 and Tuesday, Nov. 24: Multiple meals may be collected for online students from any DPSCD school on Monday, Nov. 23 and Tuesday, Nov. 24 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. Be sure to visit www.detroitk12.org/grabandgo for upcoming directions on Grab and Go meal distribution sites.  

Donated Turkey Drive-Thru at Southeastern H.S. Monday, Nov. 23: Thanks to Southeastern football alum William Gholston of the NFL’s Tampa Bay Bucs, nearly 1,000 turkeys will be donated to the community for the Thanksgiving holiday, starting at 10:30 a.m. Southeastern football players and staff will help pass out the turkeys while supplies last. ICYMI - DPSCD Technology and Family Resource Hub to Open on Dec. 1: The District will open 13 Technology and Family Resource Hubs across the city on December 1, providing direct resources to students that includes: digital device repair, breakfast, lunch, mental health support and assorted other community resources.
