DPSCD Technology and Family Resource Hubs Open this Week on Tues. Dec. 1! The District is opening 13 Technology and Family Resource Hubs providing direct resources to students and families that includes: digital device repair, breakfast, lunch, mental health support and a host of other valuable services. To find a hub near you visit www.detroitk12.org.  

DPSCD Free COVID-19 Testing Continues All this Week: In partnership with Wayne State University and Henry Ford Health System, the District is providing free COVID-19 at designated school locations throughout the city this week. DPSCD Welcome Wednesdays K-8 Online Open House Series Dec. 2: The District invites you to explore three of our featured schools to determine the right fit for your scholar to thrive! Register Now to Be a Part of Breaking a Guinness World Record in December! DPSCD is aiming for 2,000 participants to help set the Guinness World Record for “Most users to take an online computer programming lesson in 24 hours.” The event takes place Dec. 11th starting at 8 a.m. and concludes on Dec. 12th at 8 a.m. It is part of 2020 National Computer Science Education Week (Dec. 7-13). Ask your teacher to register with your class, or click here to register yourself.
