Volunteers Needed for the Annual Back to School Expo on Sat. August 28, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. We’ll need help supporting families while they explore school programs, engage in fun athletic activities, play chess, learn about robotics, listen to students perform, enjoy a picnic lunch menu and learn about resources to prepare for a successful school year. There will be three locations to serve at on Sat. Aug. 28:
- East English Village Preparatory Academy,
- Western International High School and
- Randolph Career Tech Center

Immunizations This Month: Kindergarten, 7th Grade and New Students to DPSCD! A reminder that all DPSCD kindergarten, 7th grade, and new students must be up to date on immunizations prior to attending school. DPSCD, in partnership with Wayne Integrated Health, will provide all immunizations for children as you prepare to return to school on September 7, 2021. COVID vaccines (Pfizer) will also be available for children 12+. The remaining immunizations sessions will be held at Ben Carson High School on: Mon, Tue, & Thurs. 8/23, 8/24, 8/26, 8/30, 8/31, 9/2 from 1:30 p.m.- 5:30 p.m. All children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Finally, to keep our community as safe as possible, the District plans to conduct temperature checks as well as recommend other measures for our athletics spectators, like what was done during the 20-21 school year.
