All middle school students receive instruction in the following subjects:

English Language Arts

• All students participate in a two-period block of ELA instruction.
• One period is devoted to whole class grade-level instruction.
• One period is devoted to small-group instruction allowing teachers to monitor progress and provide individualized support.

Math

• All students participate in a two-period block of math instruction.
• One period is devoted to whole class grade-level instruction.
• One period is devoted to small-group instruction allowing teachers to monitor progress and provide individualized support.

Science

• All students participate in one period of science instruction.
• The curriculum offers the opportunity for students to make scientific connections, interact with one another, and engage in hands-on activities.

Social Studies

• All students participate in one period of social studies instruction.
• Our curriculum teaches core democratic values and how to be a citizen within a democracy.

All middle school students are eligible to take courses in:
