School Board Community Engagement Online Session Thurs. June 3, 2021 5:30 p.m.-7 p.m. Board of Education members and Superintendent Dr. Nikolai Vitti will present the District’s plans for the fall return to school and COVID-19 relief funding. Summer Learning Experiences 2021 Registration is Now Open!  DPSCD K-12 students can attend in-person or online for learning, enrichment, and recreational fun beginning July 12-Aug. 5 and you can even invite your friends and family who don’t attend DPSCD to join you. How cool is that!!! Breakfast and lunch provided, transportation will be available and recreational and play activities will occur every Friday. DPSCD’s Teens for Vaccines Activities for the Week of June 1, 2021:  In partnership with Henry Ford Health System, everyone ages 12+ can get a COVID-19 vaccination on Tues. June 1 from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Mumford Health Center at Mumford High School. If you are under 18 years of age, you MUST be accompanied by parent/guardian. To schedule online, please visit  https://bit.ly/34hFDWG. DPSCD Implements New Supervised Digital Chat Feature! The District’s Technology Division has installed a new feature called Supervised Chat in Microsoft Teams.  With this digital tool, students will no longer be permitted to create chat messages with other students. Chat discussions will require adult presence. Parents and families, check with your school leaders for more information on this innovative resource designed to keep digital use appropriate and safe for your students.
