Montessori enrollment window opening soon!

Hello prospective Palmer Park families!

The enrollment period opens for Montessori schools on February 10. The application will be posted here at noon: https://www.detroitk12.org/montessori

The application window will be open until April 4. We’ve had waiting lists every year so it’s important you complete your application to be considered.

Please join our Facebook group if you haven't already - Parents of Palmer Park Prep - updates are posted there and it's a good opportunity to ask questions and connect with other parents. Be sure to answer the screening questions when you join the group and list that you are a prospective parent.

You will also find last year's Welcome Letter on the Facebook page - it will give you a sense of what life is like at Palmer, please just be aware that changes will likely be made to this document before next school year, any updates/changes will be communicated via the Facebook group as well.

Our Parent Outreach Coordinator, Amber Hunt, is also the parent of a current 2^nd and 4^th grader, and has been involved with the school since 2019. She is happy to chat if you have any questions. Her email is amber.hunt@detroitk12.org

Our next PTA meeting is on Tuesday February 10 at 4:30pm at the school. You are welcome to attend that as well if you'd like. Enter at the main entrance (door 1).
