Dear Bagley Families,

Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year! I am thrilled to begin this journey with you as the new principal of Bagley Elementary School of Journalism and Technology. It is an honor to join such a passionate and resilient school community, and I am excited about the bright future we are building together.

This year, our theme is “Elevate: Every Child, Every Day.” It reflects our schoolwide commitment to nurturing the whole child—academically, socially, emotionally, and creatively. At Bagley, we believe that every child deserves to be seen, heard, challenged, and celebrated every single day. This year, we will rise to that challenge with intention, innovation, and unity.

To support this vision, we are introducing several exciting initiatives:

A dynamic House System to strengthen school spirit, character, and community

The PBIS Rewards App to celebrate positive behavior and keep families informed

A vibrant return of art classes, encouraging creativity and self-expression

A newly enhanced STEAM Lab for hands-on, future-ready learning

Mentorship programs including GLOW (Girls Learning to Own their Worth) and Bagley GENTS to support leadership and personal growth

Expanded community partnerships and upcoming building renovations that will elevate both our programming and our physical environment

Our theme is more than a slogan—it’s a daily commitment. Whether in the classroom, the hallway, or on the playground, we will work together to uplift our students, support one another, and strive for excellence in everything we do.
