Mr. Athletic Director Barry Cannon

Athletic Director Cannon serves as the driving force behind the athletic programs at Martin Luther King Jr. Senior High School in Detroit, MI. With a deep-rooted passion for fostering student-athletes' growth both on and off the field, AD Cannon works tirelessly to ensure the success of the school's athletic initiatives. Under his leadership, the programs have seen remarkable growth, with a focus on promoting teamwork, discipline, and academic excellence among all athletes.

AD Cannon’s extensive experience in sports and leadership has enabled him to create an environment where student-athletes thrive. By developing strong partnerships with coaches, staff, and the community, he has created a program that emphasizes not only athletic performance but also character development. His approach empowers young athletes to push beyond their limits and set new personal and team goals.
