Mrs. Lana Sims

Lana Sims is a proud DPS alumni who has been in education for over 15 years. Mrs. Sims received her professional training through Eastern Michigan University, where she obtained a BA in Elementary Education and an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership. Additionally, she holds an Ed.S. in Bilingual/Bicultural Education from Wayne State University. With this foundation, Mrs. Sims is well-equipped to lead and inspire our community towards excellence. Mrs. Sims’ strengths include staying current with the best educational practices, building relationships with all stakeholders and communication. Mrs. Sims is committed to seeing her students learn and grow and is willing to go the extra mile to ensure student success. Mrs. Sims is grateful for the continued opportunity to uplift, empower, and inspire our FLICS community.
