Dr. Reginald Kirkland

Dr. Reginald Kirkland is proud to join the Carleton Elementary School community as its principal. Dr. Kirkland has served students in urban communities for over 28 years, as a teacher and administrator. He has been an elementary and middle school principal in DPSCD at Bates Academy and Hanneman Elementary. He has also worked in higher education at Michigan State University and Henry Ford College. Dr. Kirkland has Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Doctorate degrees from Eastern Michigan University, and a Master of Arts from the University of Detroit-Mercy. Dr. Kirkland is excited to return home to DPSCD and looking forward to serving the Carleton community!
