Degrees and Certifications:

Mr. Alonzo F. Terry Jr.

Mr. Terry is a proud DPSCD Alum. He graduated from Henry Ford High School (1985). He went on to attend Central State University (Ohio) and graduated in 1990. He obtained a Master's Degree and Teacher Certification in Social Studies Education from Wayne State University (2006). He then went on to obtain a second Master’s Degree in Education Leadership also from Wayne State University (2011). He has worked as a teacher, Dean of Students, District-Behavior Modification Coordinator, Assistant Principal, and Principal. He also served as the lead administrator on the School Improvement Team, Safe & Supportive Schools Committee and the District Disciplinary Planning Committee.
