Lead School Counselor

Last name of L-Z, 9th-12th grade

Why did you become a School Counselor?

I became a Counselor because after being in the classroom for about 2 years, and doing discipline for about 5, I realized my students needed much more than I could offer them as a teacher in a classroom.

What is your motivation? Who do you strive for greatness for?

I do it for the glory of God. As long as he is pleased, I know my students are!!

A message to students.

It's not how you start; IT'S HOW YOU FINISH!! PUSH......

Mrs. Kristina Eubanks MA,SCL, LLPC

School Counselor

Last name of A-K, 9th-12th grade

Why did you become a School Counselor?

I became a School Counselor to be an advocate for each student by ensuring that each student has access to the counselor as a valuable resource. By promoting and enhancing social awareness, emotional learning and giving equitable access to academic growth, my goal is to make a significant positive impact in a student's life so that they may be geared towards personal, social, and academic success.

What is your motivation? Who do you strive for greatness for?

I am a school counselor to advocate for parents and students so that they can be provided with resources for academic, personal and academic success.

A message to students.

“Instead of letting your hardships and failures discourage or exhaust you, let them inspire you. Let them make you even hungrier to succeed.” Michelle Obama

Mr. James Shelton

9TH Grade Counselor

Why did you become a School Counselor?
I want to guide students through challenges and celebrate their successes.

What is your motivation? Who do you strive for greatness for?

My motivation is always ten years away. I'm not going to attain that, and that's fine with me because it keeps me with somebody to chase. I strive for greatness for my students, Peers, and the generation after me to be a example of what can be accomplished when you apply yourself.

A message to students.

New day, new choices. Yesterday doesn’t define you—today does!
