                • Southeastern High School Athletics

                  We have beautiful up-to-date facilities and coaches with NCAA and professional experience serving up 100 years of athletic tradition and success.

                  We are committed to academic success including Athletic Study Hall, Test Prep Support, and weekly progress reports.

                  Boys/Girls Cross Country

                  Enjoy Running? Want to Get into the best shape of your life? Do you want to train for the upcoming basketball season? Cross Country is open to all boys and girls 9th through 12th grade who are willing to work hard! 

                  Season: Fall

                  GPA Requirement: Must have 2.0 GPA and updated physical on file.

                  Girls Track & Field

                  This is open to any female student at Southeastern High School who is interested in Track & Field, a sport where no experience is necessary; everyone that wants to work hard, and become a better athlete and person is welcome on the team.  Track & Field competitions take place in April and May and training begins in February. Team practices and competitions will have a calendar as soon as it is possible with an interest meeting starting in January. As a coach, Mr. Paciero has had multiple students make it to the state meet and obtain All-State accolades.

                  Season: Winter/Spring

                  GPA Requirement: All students will need to have and maintain a 2.0 or higher

                  Football

                  If you are interested in a sport that focuses on toughness, building character, and sportsmanship, then we are excited to give you the opportunity to join Coach Dinkins in his second season as Southeastern head coach.

                  Volleyball

                  There are many open positions and a great way to get involved in athletics here at Southeastern!  Coach Brown simply asks that you have commitment, are willing to work hard, and want to have fun!

                  Season: Fall 

                  GPA Requirement: Must have 2.0 GPA.

                  Boys Basketball

                  Join one of the most storied basketball programs in the state of Michigan!  Southeastern finished 2nd in their division the previous two seasons under Coach Paciero, and 1st place in City, District, and State Titles is the expectation.  Junior Varsity is looking to build on their Division Title and outstanding record with another championship!

                  Season: Winter

                  GPA Requirement: Must have 2.0 GPA and updated physical on file.

                  Girls Basketball

                  Southeastern Girls basketball has finished in the top two in their division the previous two seasons.  We are currently looking for more players to help us maintain this streak.  Skill level doesn’t matter, as long as you are willing to commit and be dedicated to learning the game.

                  Season: Winter 

                  GPA Requirement: Must have 2.0 GPA and updated physical on file.

                  Boys Baseball

                  Although this is a Spring sport, the baseball team does have workouts throughout the school year. The Southeastern Jungaleers Baseball Team is a new organization.  The program had been under a brief hiatus, but was brought back to Southeastern two years ago.  The Baseball team is coached by Mr. Darin Battle, who has coached the Jungaleers for the past 2 seasons.

                  Season: Spring

                  GPA Requirement: The MHSAA requires Student/Athletes to maintain a 2.0 GPA.

                  Girls Softball

                  Want to enjoy the spring weather and be part of a team?  No playing experience is necessary.  Games are held at Maheras Park twice a week starting in April.

                  Season: Spring
