    Greetings Parents/Guardians, 

     

     

    It is with pleasure that I welcome you to the 2021-2022 school year at Nolan Elementary Middle School! I am excited about our students return to in-person learning and look forward to the staff building relationships with our students, parents, and community. My goal is to ensure that your child walks into a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment daily that provides them with many opportunities to flourish and succeed.  

     

    The school year will begin on Tuesday, September 7, 2021. Please make note of the following information for dress code: 

     

    Shirts - Black or White short or long-sleeved collared polo or oxford style shirts and  

                                turtlenecks. Manufacture trademarks or logos, if any, must be one inch or less. 

    Bottoms - All pants or skirts must be a solid color, khaki or black. 

    Jackets/Cardigans/Sweaters – They should match an accepted uniform color. Middle  

                   School students cannot wear hoodies.     

    Shoes - Athletic shoes, laced shoes and/or shoe boots, loafers, dress shoes, or other  

                  closed toe/closed heel shoesStudents shall not wear house slippers, flip-flops,

                  athletic slides or any other type of footwear that could constitute a safety hazard. 

     

    Please note, shirts shall be worn inside slacks with belts at all times by all students unless the shirts are designed to be worn outside of the slacks or the pants are designed to be worn without a belt. Sagging is unacceptable and undergarments should be covered at all times. 

     

    We succeed when we work collectively as a family! Even with the challenges we faced this past year, I am optimistic about this school year with your children and look forward to working with you.
