• CASS TECHNICAL HIGH SCHOOL INTERNSHIP

    Ilitch companies are proud to partner with Cass Technical High School to develop high school students looking to gain knowledge and experience in the business environment. During the program, interns will have the opportunity to gain real world experience with one of the Ilitch Companies Entities.

    Position Summary

    The Cass Tech Internship Program is a comprehensive eight-week program designed to give rising juniors and rising seniors in high school experience in a corporate setting. This program will give students the opportunity to:

    Qualifications

    • Enrolled full-time at Cass Technical High School
    • Entering into Junior or Senior Year as of (Fall 2024)
    • Must be at least 16 years of age
    • Earned a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
    • Eligible to work in the United States
    • Available to work a minimum of 20 hours; maximum of 40 hours each week Possess the skills and minimum requirements outlined in job description
    • Returning interns can re-apply with same or new company; must meet eligibility requirement

    Available Internships

    Operations (LCA)

    • Assist with planning for large scale concerts and events
    • Assist with event administration such as staff scheduling, mailings, show information distribution, etc.
    • Conduct labor analysis
    • Assist with operational building projects
    • Conduct daily/weekly property inspections
    • Research asset acquisitions and capital improvements
    • Assist with processing invoices
    • Operational data entry
    • Provide weekly project update

    Gameday Production (IS+E)

    • Stage Managing, Camera Assistant, Stagehand, etc.
    • Basic video editing and video file management
    • Basic graphic design, Photoshop, file management
    • General office administrative tasks

    Broadcast & A/V Systems (IS+E)

    • Assist colleagues with technical production of Tigers in-game entertainment
    • Operation and servicing of camera equipment
    • Assist production coordinator with organizing schedules
    • Assisting with cable runs
    • Assist in the coordination and execution of multimedia productions
    • Assist with gameday duties including set up of ancillary A/V equipment throughout the ballparkShadow department members to assist them on various projects and deliverables and to understand the full range of broadcast and entertainment services opportunities.

    Sales Operations (IS+E)

    • Assist with sales event planning (Wings & Tigers)
    • Assist with event execution (Wings & Tigers)
    • Assist with ticketing reports (Tigers)
    • Assist with various game day activities (Tigers)

     

    Marketing (DTI)

    • General administrative support to the marketing department
    • Assist the Marketing Coordinator with department calendar and organizational timelines throughout the 2024 season
    • Assist with special event set-up and coverage
    • Assist with departmental charity requests, which includes managing department autographed memorabilia inventory
    • Complete season specific projects as assigned by supervisor and department heads Assist other departments as necessary including but not limited to; in-game promotions, field ceremonies, marketing, security, etc.
    • Shadow department members to assist them on various projects and deliverables to understand the full range of park operations opportunities

    Media Relations (IS+E)

    • Prepare media measurement reports
    • Research proactive public and relations activations
    • Organizing brand assets
    • Assist in the coordination and execution of multimedia productions
    • Attend neighborhood advisory committee (NAC) meetings
    • Shadow department members to assist them on various projects and deliverables and to understand the full range of marketing, communication and public affairs opportunities

    Operations (Fox)

    • Assist with planning for large scale concerts and events
    • Assist with event administration such as staff scheduling, mailings, show information distribution, etc.
    • Conduct labor analysis
    • Assist with operational building projects
    • Conduct daily/weekly property inspections
    • Research asset acquisitions and capital improvements
    • Assist with processing invoices

    Parking Operations (ODMP)

    • Assist with cleaning up Flash accounts
    • Assist with ensuring correct pricing within ParkWhiz
    • Assist with keeping ODMP Calendar up to date with events in The District
    • Assist with creation of Multi Passes for Ilitch Companies
    • Keeping an up-to-date inventory of all supplies
    • Keeping the sell list up to date on a daily basis
    • Update competitive rate analysis; include any garages/lots not on our current spreadsheet
    • Work with Flash reports to develop occupancy rates of individual garages/lots
    • Call center activities; answering any questions via phone calls

     

    LCE/BLD User Experience

    • Learn how to use voice-of-customer platform (Qualtrics)
    • Monitor feedback for analysis points
    • Conduct analysis of visitor feedback and create shareable deliverables for the team
    • Present analysis findings to team stakeholders, if needed
    • Assist UX team with assorted data analysis and retrieval requests.

    LCE Cyber Security Governance, Risk and Compliance

    • Developing interesting and creative cyber security awareness materials
    • Assisting with generation of metrics following phishing campaigns
    • Assisting with maintaining security policies

    LCE Human Resources

    • Research and create a proposal for retirement recognition changes
    • Create a tracking/storage system for documents/communications that relate to our internal high potential training program - CLIMB (Challenge, Learn, Inspire, Master and Believe)
    • Various employee file audits within Workday (Human Capital Management – HCM) to ensure proper onboarding documents are completed for corporate new hires
    • Assist with running and analyzing HRIS reports

    LCE Cyber Security Operations

    • Continuous Monitoring and Detection (M&D) and Triage via our SIEM tool
    • Cybersecurity Incident Response and Management
    • Incident Analysis and Forensics
    • Threat Hunting and Analysis
    • Vulnerability Management

    LCE/BLD Software Engineering

    • Become familiar with the Caesar Vision system (point of sale system)
    • Become familiar with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) at Little Caesars with special focus on:
    • The Software Development process, Quality Assurance, and Release Management
    • Participate in the following activities (possibly multiple based on assignment and needs):
    • Design, development, and support of technical projects through to completion according to project standards.
    • Support Quality Assurance (QA) in the development of integration test plans, test conditions, and expected test results.
    • Collaborate with Business Analysts to understand requests or business initiatives and discuss alternatives.
    • Resolves system issues and responds to suggestions for improvements.
    • Develop and maintain documentation.

    LCE R&D

    • Supports Sensory Manager in set up and execution of internal sensory training and testing, including preparing samples and training
    • Documents observations associated with sample preparation
    • Timing is critical to sensory testing, this position will manage and execute to a detailed timing schedule

    Ilitch Charities

    • Assist with planning for major charitable events for the Ilitch Companies
    • Assist with social media activities for Ilitch Charities
    •  Assist with Ilitch Companies’ colleagues’ charitable programs including volunteer projects and community giving initiatives
    • Review, gather and analyze data related to best practices for corporate community relations
    • Shadow department members to assist them on various projects and deliverables to understand the full range of community activities at the Ilitch Companies
    • Flexible hours to include various tasks and assignments such as clerical and administrative work for daily operation of the charity (accounting, historical research, filing, etc.)
    • Ideally the intern will assist with the executive of the Ilitch Charities golf outing

    IHI Archives

    • Digitizing reference files
    • Creating index for LCE Newsletter
    • Assisting in various projects within the department

    IHI Benefits

    • Assist with the development of narrative content of the projects being developed

    IHI Communications

    • Develop new content ideas, plan for implementation
    • Produce writing elements (creative briefs, social media posts, articles for websites, etc.)
    • Collaborative editorial calendar management and planning
    • Assist in project management and workflow (Trello)
    • Research new social media channels and potential content
    • Benchmark social media in related industries
    • Daily media and social monitoring and reporting
