Mama Irvin

Tanisha Irvin was born and raised in Detroit. She is a proud graduate of Bates Academy and Cass Technical High School. Tanisha earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Howard University, her Master of Arts in Education from the University of Michigan and her Education Specialist Degree from Wayne State University. She is a firm believer that ALL children can learn. She is a walking testimony that “If you believe, you can achieve!” and “Your attitude determines your altitude.”
