Mrs. Casita Adams
Greetings Marion Law Academy Family,
I am honored to be serving my first year as an Assistant Principal with DPSCD, building on more than 15 years of experience in education and leadership, and over a decade of counseling experience. I grew up in a community that valued faith, hard work, and service—principles that continue to shape my passion for supporting students, staff, and families.
I pursued my educational journey at Wayne State University, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Education, a Master of Arts in Counseling, and an Education Specialist degree in Administration and Supervision. I also completed a Master’s in Curriculum Instruction, and Reading at Southern New Hampshire University, and also earned my Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Supervision at Liberty University.
I am originally from the Caribbean; I bring a diverse cultural perspective and a deep appreciation for community-centered education. Throughout my career, I have served in multiple roles, including elementary and middle school teacher, health education teacher, Teacher Leader, counselor, curriculum instructor, test coordinator, and Assistant Principal in the charter school sector. Each role has expanded my commitment to educational excellence and student-centered leadership.
The impact I plan to make at Marion Law Academy is grounded in empowerment, academic growth, and emotional well-being. My goal is for every scholar to feel seen, supported, and capable of achieving their highest potential. I want students to know that their voice matters, their dreams are possible, and that they have an Assistant Principal who is dedicated to guiding them with consistency, compassion, and high expectations.
