Derrick Coleman

A self-described 'urban ,' Dr. Coleman has a passion for providing young people with access, opportunity, and college scholarships, regardless of their economic situation. A graduate of Detroit Western High School, Dr. Coleman earned his bachelor's and master's degrees from Eastern Michigan University. Mr. Coleman served as the superintendent of River Rouge Public Schools and was paramount in significant enrollment boosts and the opening of a new science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) focused school, and a school-based health center.
