  • Welcome to the Finance Division. Under the direct supervision of the Chief Financial Officer, the Finance Division consists of: Accounting, Accounts Payable, Budget and Planning, Internal Audit, Payroll, Procurement, Risk Management and Treasury.

    We are a team focused on creating a culture of excellence that permeates our system of schools. To do that, we create and maintain an organization that totally accepts its responsibility for making DPSCD a top-rated school district. That begins with the budget, which is fiscally sound, balanced and focused on driving resources where they are most impactful—to our classrooms and our students. That continues with the responsible stewardships of public and private funds.

    The Finance team recommits ourselves every day to making possible this vision by (1) equitably distributing resources to students (2) supporting the effective use and maximum impact of our resources and (3) ensuring the fiscal integrity of DPSCD. 

    What We Do

    The Finance team serve as stewards of public funds, maintaining the fiscal integrity of the organization, monitoring and analyzing budgetary activity, centralizing and enhancing grants management, and providing financial leadership to the district according to state, federal and governmental regulations, district policies, and sound financial practices.
