Mathematics

  • The Office of Mathematics is dedicated to strengthening how math is taught and learned across our District. We work with educators, staff, students, and families to:

    • Equip teachers with high-quality, standards-based curriculum

    • Lead district-wide math initiatives and supports

    • Build students’ confidence and competence in math

    • Encourage classrooms full of problem-solving and collaboration

    • Promote rigor, relevance, and meaningful relationships in math learning

    Curriculum Overview

Every classroom has access to a high-quality curriculum aligned with the Michigan Academic Standards. These standards outline what students should know and be able to do by the end of each grade level or course.

    For Parents & Families

Parents and guardians are their child’s most important math partners—at homework time and beyond. To support you, we’ve gathered resources to help strengthen math learning at home: Please refer to the Math Links for parental support with CPM and Eureka Math.
