Vision
All Detroit Public School Community District high school students will have equitable access to high quality accelerated coursework that will allow them to earn college credit that aligns with their post-secondary plans and life goals.
What We Do
Accelerated Programs encompass Advanced Placement (AP), Dual Enrollment (DE), and International Baccalaureate (IB). These programs offer students opportunities for advanced learning and the potential to earn college credit. The core responsibility of the department is to provide students' access to college level coursework to prepare them for their future on college campuses. We work in partnership with local institutions, national organizations, and our schools to ensure the success of these programs.
